Claygate Village

Claygate is a village of approximately 7,000 people in the Surrey borough of Elmbridge and the Parliamentary Constituency of Esher and Walton.

The most important work on the history of the village “The Claygate Book: a history of a Surrey village” was published in 1983 by local resident Malcolm W H Peebles (1931- 2002) and republished in 1999 in a Millennium Edition.
